1. Can I order back issues of a particular issue?

To buy a back issue of JAPAN and the WORLD magazine, please call +81-3-6432-9119 or send an email to info@intermediajapan.com. Issues are available back 1 year, subject to stock availability.

2. How will I know if you got my subscription order?

You will receive an email notifying you that your order has been processed. This email will be sent to you immediately after your orders has been placed and may take up to 15 minutes to come through. It will confirm the details of your purchase including the price, the billing name and address and the delivery name and address.

3. How can I pay for my subscription?

You can only pay with your PayPal account. Place your order on our checkout page and select “PayPal” as payment method. Log in with your PayPal account once you are redirected to the PayPal page.

We like to offer our customers as much choice as possible and therefore we will add more options in the future.

4. How do I change my address or contact details?

If you need to change your address or contact details before you receive the first copy of JAPAN and the WORLD magazine, please email us with your changes.

5. How long do I have to wait for my first issue to arrive?

Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for delivery of the first issue.

6. Can magazines be delivered to a country outside of Japan?

Yes. For delivery to a non-Japan address, please click here.

7. What issue will my subscription start with? Can I specify which issue it will be?

Your subscription will usually start with the current issue that is available in the shops now. Unfortunately you cannot specify which issue to start your subscription.

8. Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, in some circumstances, you may cancel your subscription.

If you cancel your subscription within 48 hours of placing it, we will provide a full refund. This is only applicable to orders placed for Japan within 48 hours of order.

If you request a cancellation more than 48 hours after placing your order we will not offer a refund.
