ANA collaborates with CNN Digital Studios on new series

The 5-star airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) and CNN’s International Commercial (CNNIC) established a partnership in 2016 to encourage travelers to explore and discover Japan using ANA, which in turn led to the creation of the successful 2016 Ichigo Ichie digital series.

Great Big Story and CNN Digital Studio in association with ANA have produced in total 2 new series.


Evolving on this strong partnership, the new campaign marks the first sponsorship from CNNIC, combining CNN Digital Studios and global media company, Great Big Story. The CNN Digital Studios series called Vision: The Future of Japan is the biggest series to date produced by CNN Digital Studios in London. It comprises of 8 films all shot in different locations in Japan and offers and in-depth look at the country and explores ambitious projects shaping the future of the universe.

To complement both series, CNNIC’s branded content studio, CREATE, has produced a multi-platform campaign and digital hub dedicated to recounting stories of Japanese kindness and draws attention on Japan’s unique hospitality and instinct to welcome visitors.

This project is aimed at consumers with an interest in global travel from the UK, Germany, France amongst several other Western European countries and has as objective to boost the 200,000 visitors from this region that the Japan National Tourism Organization already welcomed in Q1 2017.
