Inter Media Japan celebrates 5 years

Created in 2012, Inter Media Japan has penetrated the world of diplomacy, gastronomy, health, sports and has served as a window to the world, and brought Japan a little closer to the world.


On Friday 19th May, Inter Media Japan celebrated its 5 years of existence at Happo-en, welcoming more than 350 guests from over 80 different nationalities; ambassadors, diplomats, Japanese and foreign private sector as well as many from varying work backgrounds.

CEO and Founder, Mrs. Pia Von Waldau gave the opening speech and thanked everybody for their support over the elapsed time. She also spoke of Inter Media Japan’s partnering with Japanese media and communication company, Que Ser Ser and through this, expanding its services to Africa and South East Asia. Other guest speakers included Mr. Tomohiko Taniguchi, special advisor to the Cabinet of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Mr. Takeo Hirata, Secretary General of the Headquarters for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The charity raffle included prizes from Etihad, The Vijitt Resort in Phuket, NIWAKA, Wakamatsu Hakodate, Pommery and Jacquet-Droz and all the proceeds collected went to supporting the creation of Olympic and Paralympic teams around the world.
